Paying Your Rent
Rent Overview
Paying Your Rent and Service Charges
Keeping up with your rent and service charges helps you stay secure in your home. If you’re ever struggling, please get in touch – we’re here to help.
How to Pay
Rent is due in advance on the 1st of each month. Here are your options for paying:
- Direct Debit (recommended): The easiest way to pay. We can set this up for you and make changes if needed.
Download the Direct Debit form - By phone: Call our office to make a payment over the phone. We still recommend setting up a Direct Debit if you can.
- Standing Order: Contact us to discuss setting up a standing order
Support with Benefits
You might be eligible for Housing Benefit or Universal Credit. If you’re unsure, it’s worth applying. The Housing Team can help if you’re having trouble claiming. Even if benefits are paid directly to us, you’re still responsible for making sure your rent is paid.
What’s Included in Your Rent
Rent is money you pay to us to manage, maintain, repair and improve your home.
Rents are reviewed every year, in line with Government Guidelines, with any changes starting from April 1st. We’ll always give you at least one month’s notice.
